First shuttering board goes in.

Here you can see the shape of the stair case. The boards are positioned where the front edge of the final step will be.

All the shuttering is then removed so I can lay the foamglas insulation boards. These are laid on sand and bonded together. Ideally I would have laid the boards before building the shuttering but thought I might break the boards and take more time trying to tread carefully around them whilst building the shuttering.
