Sample Panel

(April 1st 2007) This is the sample wall panel as required by my planning permission conditions. It isn't quite right as the pointing is a little fat plus I ran out of sand after making a mistake with the vertical block bond. That's the part where the bricks meet the blocks in the middle of the wall. My actual walls will be built properly!

Sample Wall Panel - The brick edge on the right only has one brick of the correct type (3rd one down). The rest are just bricks I found in the garden. They demonstrate the brick edge that I plan to use. The mortar is just a weak mix to demonstrate the style of pointing I plan to use. I plan to use lime mortar for the real walls.
